About Pilar
Pilar is a mompreneur, homeschool mentor, and Montessori advocate. She grew up attending Montessori schools. Before becoming a Montessori guide, she enjoyed a career in hospitality management and event planning.
Pilar holds AMI certifications for ages 3-12, a Master’s degree in Montessori education, and Positive Discipline parent and classroom certifications. She has a decade of classroom experience at Primary and Elementary levels and has been homeschooling her two children for three years.
She created MainlyMontessori.com to provide resources and support for homeschooling parents because she believes that parents are a child’s most important and influential teachers. Pilar lives with her children and husband in the beautiful rural backcountry of San Diego
