Matt Bronsil
About Matt
Matt Bronsil is a Montessori foreign language teacher in Taichung, Taiwan. He is the author of two books: Before the Sandpaper Letters and English as a Foreign Language in the Montessori Classroom.
Practically born in a Montessori classroom, Matt Bronsil was in his parents’ class when he was an infant as a practical life activity. The children helped take care of him. He went to Xavier University’s lab school for 3-6 and Mercy Montessori school for elementary school (both based in Cincinnati, Ohio). He moved to Taiwan in 2006 to begin working to tie Montessori and Foreign Languages and has since given talks in Taiwan, Malaysia, and different parts of China, as well as a talk at the AMS Annual Conference.
