About Jennifer
Jennifer is a homeschooling mother of two boys ages 10 and 12. In addition to her Montessori training, she also has a BA in Media Communication from the University of Washington.
Jennifer's Montessori classroom experience gave her a deep appreciation for Montessori education, and her time spent as an editor further developed her love of grammar and language. She had no doubt that she wanted to give her children a rich, Montessori education, but when her own children were born, sending them to Montessori school wasn’t an option. Armed with a degree, a little experience, and a lot of hope, she began the journey of the prepared homeschooling parent.
In 2012, Jennifer began to share her handmade materials and ideas with homeschooling families through her company, Branch to Bloom. The learning materials she and her family make are designed to help parents and educators to create captivating learning environments for the children they inspire.
As an extension of her passion for homeschooling, Jennifer also began sharing Montessori homeschool tutorials on her YouTube channel in 2019. She makes these free videos to show how simple and fun Montessori at home can be and to inspire other homeschoolers to give it a try.
